Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
QueryCherry provides browser-based tools for working with SQL, CSV, JSON, text, timestamps, and related data.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you visit or use QueryCherry, why it may be processed, and how to contact us with privacy questions.
We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
2. Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, information you choose to provide may include:
- Text, SQL queries, CSV files, JSON data, and other inputs you enter into a tool.
- Messages or details you submit when reporting a bug or sending feedback.
- Information you provide if you contact us directly.
Different tools may handle information differently. Do not assume that every tool processes data in the same way.
3. How tool inputs are handled
QueryCherry is designed to offer data tools without requiring an account for basic use.
Some tools process inputs directly in your browser. For those tools, the inputs and results generally remain in that browser session unless you choose to export, share, or otherwise transmit them.
Website hosting, security systems, and other supporting services may process technical information when you access the website. This does not necessarily mean that the contents you enter into a tool are transmitted to those services.
Until you have verified the handling of a particular tool, avoid entering passwords, confidential business data, sensitive personal information, or other information you would not want exposed.
4. Technical information and hosting
Our website is hosted using Cloudflare infrastructure. Depending on the services and configuration in use, the hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, timestamps, browser information, and security logs.
Such information may be processed to deliver the website, protect against abuse, maintain security, and troubleshoot technical problems, subject to the provider's configuration and policies.
We will update this policy if analytics, advertising, or other third-party features are introduced and materially change the information processed.
5. Feedback and communications
If you email us or send feedback, we may use the information you provide to respond, investigate a reported issue, and improve QueryCherry.
Please avoid including passwords, confidential files, or sensitive personal information in messages unless necessary and you are authorized to share it.
Email communications may be handled by the email service provider you use and the provider hosting our support inbox.
6. Cookies and local storage
Browser technologies such as cookies or local storage may be used by a website or its supporting services. The use of these technologies depends on the actual code and configuration in place.
For large JSON-to-SQL, duplicate-finding, and CSV join operations, QueryCherry may use a temporary IndexedDB database in your browser to hold local matching indexes. The index is deleted after the operation completes or fails. If the tab or browser closes unexpectedly, temporary index data may remain in that browser profile until site data is cleared. These temporary indexes are processed locally and are not uploaded to QueryCherry servers by these tools.
We will update this policy if we add features that use cookies, local storage, analytics, or similar technologies in a way that materially affects privacy.
7. Third-party services
QueryCherry uses Cloudflare to host and deliver the website. If additional third-party services are added, those providers may process information according to their own policies and the way the feature is implemented.
QueryCherry does not currently display advertising through an ad network. If advertising is introduced, third-party ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, or personalize ads, depending on the provider and configuration. We will update this policy and provide any notices or choices required before enabling such advertising.
When you follow a link to an external website, that website's own privacy practices apply.
8. Sharing of information
We do not sell the contents you enter into QueryCherry as a product.
Information may be processed by service providers involved in operating the website, or disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or others.
The exact handling of tool inputs depends on the relevant tool and its implementation. Do not rely on a promise that all information stays on your device unless that has been verified for the tool you are using.
9. Retention and security
Information entered into browser-based tools may remain in the page or browser memory while you use the tool. Information you send by email may remain in your mailbox and the recipient's mailbox until deleted under their respective settings and policies.
Technical logs may be retained by hosting or security providers according to their configurations and retention policies.
We take privacy seriously, but no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Children's privacy
QueryCherry is a general-purpose tool and is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should not have been collected, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate steps under applicable law.
11. Your privacy choices and requests
Depending on applicable law and the information involved, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or raise an objection or concern about its processing.
To submit a privacy question or request, email QueryCherry.Support@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request before responding.
We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.
12. International processing
Website infrastructure and service providers may process technical information in locations outside your country, depending on their configuration and operations. Where required, we will provide further information about relevant processing and applicable safeguards.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the beta evolves or as our data practices change. We will update the effective date when changes are made and provide additional notice where required.
