Terms of Use
1. About QueryCherry
QueryCherry is a browser-based collection of tools for working with SQL, CSV, JSON, text, timestamps, and related data tasks.
QueryCherry is currently offered as a public beta. The service is free during this beta period. Features, limits, and availability may change as we improve the product.
2. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using QueryCherry, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
If you are not legally able to agree to these terms, use QueryCherry only with appropriate permission and supervision.
3. Permitted use
You may use QueryCherry for lawful personal, educational, and professional purposes.
You agree not to:
- Use the service to violate applicable laws or other people's rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
- Upload or process data you are not authorized to use.
- Abuse the service, bypass technical safeguards, or interfere with other users' access.
4. Beta availability and changes
QueryCherry is experimental software. It may contain bugs, produce unexpected results, experience downtime, or have features changed, limited, or removed.
We will try to improve reliability, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every file, or error-free operation.
Please keep your own copies of important files and verify important results before relying on them.
5. Data and privacy
Your use of QueryCherry is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
Some tools may process data directly in your browser. The exact handling of data may vary by tool and by the services used to operate the website.
Do not use confidential, highly sensitive, or regulated information during beta unless you have verified that the tool is appropriate for that information and that you are authorized to use it.
6. Results and responsibility
QueryCherry provides tools and results for your convenience. Generated SQL, converted data, comparisons, charts, and other outputs may be incomplete or incorrect.
You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them in production systems, business decisions, financial records, or other important contexts.
QueryCherry is not a substitute for professional advice or for testing code in a safe environment.
7. Intellectual property and your content
You retain any rights you have in the data and files you provide to QueryCherry.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to process that content.
You may not copy or misuse QueryCherry's branding, website code, or other protected materials except as permitted by applicable law or with permission.
8. Free access and advertising
The tools currently offered on QueryCherry are available without a usage fee. We may support the service in the future through advertising or other clearly identified forms of monetization.
If advertising is introduced, advertisements will be identified as such. Ads may be provided by third-party advertising services and may be subject to those providers’ terms and privacy practices. We do not promise that advertisements will always be present or that every user will see the same ads.
We will not ask you to pay for a feature unless the relevant price and terms are clearly presented before purchase.
9. Suspension and discontinuation
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, unlawful activity, or operational problems.
We may modify or discontinue the beta. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of significant changes.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, QueryCherry is provided during beta on an “as available” and “as is” basis, without promises that every feature or result will be accurate, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, QueryCherry is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from beta use. This section does not remove any responsibility that applicable law requires us to retain.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as QueryCherry evolves. We will update the effective date when we make changes. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Applicable law and contact
These terms are subject to applicable law. Any dispute will be handled by the competent authorities or courts as determined under applicable law.
